After registering, do I have to complete the application form within a day?

No, it is not necessary; an applicant may save all personal data and return to complete it later.

In the Finance section, is it possible to leave some fields blank in the case that it does not apply?

Please provide as many details as you can. If any question does not apply to your situation, please enter a “0”.

After I have finished my online application what are the next steps?

Once an applicant has finished the online application, s/he will receive an email message confirmation outlining the details of the required documents. Please send via post all supporting documents to IIE (Institute of International Education) by April 15th, 2012
The IIE mailing address is provided in the sent e-mail.

Can I submit the application by mail?

Yes – At this time, the online application must be printed and and all supporting documents must be sent by mail in order to complete the application process and be entered for selection.

When will the interview be held?

During April – May 2012

What does the GE Foundation Scholarship provide?

Full tuition fee for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of your undergraduate program, monthly allowance, book allowance, and participation in GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders activities, including a specially designed leadership development seminar.

Am I obligated to accept this award?

No

What are the scholarship terms and conditions?

Selected grantees are unable to accept other scholarship programs and the minimum GPA required is 3.00/4.00 or 2.75/4.00 for grantee in engineering study.
