How can I apply in South Korea?

Applications will be available after March 2, 2012 and may be accessed at http://apply.scholarshipandmore.org/

The application form including essay must be submitted online by April 12, 2012. All supporting documentation must arrive via post by April 12, 2012 to:

What supporting documents are required in addition to the online form?

In addition to your online application form, the following documentation is required:

1. KAEC Supplemental Form (1 original + 4 copies)
2. Certification Page with original signature (downloaded from the online application)
3. Three letters of recommendation (Two recommendations from permanent faculty members of the applicant’s institution and one recommendation can be obtained from applicant’s high school teacher) – downloadable from the online application
4. College or university transcripts (1 official copy)
5. Evidence of enrollment at a college or university
6. High school transcripts (1 official copy)

What is the selection procedure?

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all the required documentation has been submitted or mailed to the KAEC office by the relevant application deadline.

After a documentary screening by specialists, applicants recommended for further consideration will be contacted, either by phone or letter, concerning the time and place of the oral interview.

KAEC makes the final selection of the recipients of the GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders Program based on the recommendations of the interview panel and other factors as may be deemed appropriate.
