10 First-Year University Students Get Foundation Awards

KUALA LUMPUR, June 16 (Bernama)—Tan Yiew Yew is all excited about contributing his skills and time for community service.

The 20-year-old Universiti Malaya (UM) first-year electrical engineering student is among 10 who received GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders Programme scholarships of US$2,000 (RM6,600) annually, for the next three years.
